So its been awhile but this is my last blog EVER for the UCMB just to wrap up everything that happened at the end of the year.
The Band Banquet was successful, as always. We had too much fun eating, getting awards, and dancing the night away! It was definitely sad to think it would be my last banquet, but it was good to get closure on my 4 years in the UConn Marching Band.

So, our last game is over.
Saturday marked a lot of lasts for me. Last Rentschler rehearsal, last walk in, last Pregame, last Halftime, last Postgame, last time singing the Alma Mater with the UCMB, last time performing as a member of the UCMB, last walk out....

The end of the season is my least favorite part about marching band. I hate the cold weather, and rehearsals can be brutal if you don’t bundle up! Last week’s rehearsals were cold for sure, reminding everyone that the end of the season is near. I also got strep throat (again!), so i had to sit out for most of the rehearsals. We went over and cleaned our entire show for our Saturday. We added

Hey everybody!
First off, we won our 6th home game against Rutgers with a score of 38-19, for a record of 8-1. It’s the first time in UConn history that we’ve had that good of a record! We face Syracuse on the 17th for our last home game. Let’s Go Huskies! A bowl game is now pretty much a definite, although I don’t want to jinx it! Being somewhere warm over Winter Break with my best friends!

The past month has been really crazy!!!
The big things that have happened included winning the Louisville game a few weeks ago! It was another big win for UConn, espeically after losing the week before to Virginia.
