Preseason Housing Contract

Housing/Meal ReqUest

Dear UCMB member,

In order to provide food and housing for the UCMB for our preseason rehearsals we need each member to request housing and food for that period. We need to submit this to the Department of Residential Life and Dining Services by August 1.

Our Preseason is a very large expense for the band:

This will cost each band member nothing. Band members’ expenses will be paid for out of our budget! However, should someone request housing and meals and not participate in the band, they will be billed for that expense. The band will only request housing and meals for those who return this request.

Please notice that this concerns both housing and meals. So, if you are living off campus we still need this back if you want to eat! We will also consider this as your confirmation that you intend to participate in the band. We will determine the number of positions in our field show. 

Submitting this form indicates that you:

1. Intend to be member of the 2012 University of Connecticut Marching Band 

1. Confirm that you will participate in the full 2012 UCMB Pre-season

1. Understand that you will be responsible to cover all preseason housing and dining costs if you do not participate in the entire UCMB Preseason Week and that all necessary fees will be charged to your student fee bill.

(Note: Residential Life charges $75 per day for students who arrive before the official move-in date and are not part of an organization. An additional $75 processing fee will also be charged by Res. Life.)
