Be A Part of The Pride

The University of Connecticut Marching Band is made up of over 300 students that represent the diversity of our campus and have varying levels of marching and playing experience. Our members come from over 75 different majors and 18 differnet states. Every year we work to produce the best band possible. For many of our members, playing in the marching band is the most memorable part of their college experience.

The band has performed throughout New England, the United States and even Europe.. Joining the marching band is the best way to transition from high school to college and make friendships before school begins. The marching band teaches students how to manage time wisely, and succeed in college. In fact, the cumulative GPA of the band is a 3.4. We are UConn's largest student organization, and we want you to join us!

2012 New Member Open House

There will be an Open House for all new members of the band on Saturday, July 21st. We strongly encourage anyone interested in joining to attend. More information.

Returning Members

Please submit your 2012 Membership Form as soon as possible. You are required to submit a new membership form each season.

New Members

After receiving your acceptance letter from the university, fill out a Membership Form so we have your information to contact you with information on the upcoming season. Also, make sure you register for marching band as a class, MUS 1108. Feel free to explore our website to find out more about the UCMB.

Husky-For-A-Day

Our Husky For A Day program offers prospective members the chance to spend the day with a current member of the UCMB. This is your chance to see the UConn campus through the eyes of a current student, and ask any questions you have about the UConn band program. More information.
