This week has been very exciting and stressful. The band has been getting ready for our game this weekend vs. Akron. Which also happens to be Alumni Day for the band. We’re very excited to have our Alumni back to perform with us.

 

I was really excited to find out that UConn is now 4-o and hopefully this weekend we will become 5-0 and be one step closer to going to a Bowl Game. That would make the band very excited. The last time we went to a bowl game was 3 years ago, when the band traveled to Detroit for the Motor City Bowl.

 

I have been updating the UCMB Merchandise website and it’s looking really good. There are new pictures and more information about upcoming orders, so make sure you take a look at that. Also keep and eye out on campus for the selling of a UCMB Original. Stick-It-In T-Shirts are going to be sold to students on campus. Get them while they last so you can wear them in the Student Section.

 

Lypsync Rehearsals started last week. Karrie (Social Chair) and Mandy have been working hard to get us ready for Homecoming this year and making sure we look extra awesome for when Lypsync rolls around on October 20th. This is my first year doing it, and so far it’s been a lot of fun. Siggi (Band President) and Alyssa M. (Feature Twirler) were elected as our UCMB King and Queen Representatives. Voting begins October 1-October 3 so vote for the UCMB!!
